Welcome to Brunswick &
The Golden Isles of Georgia

THE GOLDEN ISLES

Welcome to Brunswick & The Golden Isles of Georgia!

What makes the city of Brunswick unique is that Brunswick & The Golden Isles consists of a port city and four islands. When one comes to the Golden Isles, he or she is treated to a truly exhilarating experience of sea, sun and fun. As one explores the area, he or she comes and realizes, as did Spanish explorers 400 years ago, not gold, but rather the amazing beauty, glorious year round weather, and radiance that make these special places so truly "GOLDEN".

Brunswick, who name comes from the home of King George II, has been proclaimed by many as a Shrimp Capital of the world and home of world-famous Brunswick Stew.

St. Simons Island

St. Simons Island has captivated millions of visitors for decades for its remarkable beauty and fascinating history. Lovely beaches and historic remnants of bygone eras are just a glimpse of what this Island has to offer to visitors and residents. One of the most appealing attraction is Ft. Frederica and the other sites of antebellum plantations that gives the Island its enriching history.

Sea Island

Sea Island is unique in its land position;reached by causeway from St. Simons Island. Sea Island is an internationally acclaimed Five Star resort.

Little St. Simons Island

Little St. Simons Island is reached only by boat. It is very secluded coastal getaway. It is also very quaint offering accommodations for just about thirty guests. Another key point about this area is that its 10,000 acres of maritime forests and tidal creeks, & miles and miles of shell-strewn beaches continues to remain untouched by man's hands making it an enrichment, ideally natural environment for a host of outdoor recreational activities and relaxation.

Jekyll Island

This Island is the most Southern style of the Golden Isles. Jekyll island is home to a splendidly restored historic district as well as ten glorious miles of golden-sand beaches.
